State bodies would 'give their right arm' for RTÉ's €725m funding package, says Harris

The three-year State funding package for RTÉ will see €225m allocated next year; €240m in 2026; and €260m in 2027

RTÉ is to receive a multi-year funding package that other Sate bodies would “give their right arm for”, the Taoiseach has said.

Simon Harris has said that it is “very important” that in return for a €725m funding package the national broadcaster "keeps its word” in relation to reform.
