Accusations of ‘strategic interruption’ as Sinn Féin TD clashes with speaker

Ceann Comhairle Seán Ó Fearghaíl threatened to suspend the House after he accused Sinn Féin’s Pearse Doherty of engaging in “strategic interruption” during Leaders’ Questions.

Mr Ó Fearghaíl said he knows "we are at a certain point in the election cycle where people are getting excited" but added the public expects debate to be conducted in an orderly fashion.
