Hero Deliveroo rider Caio Benicio to run for Fianna Fáil at local elections

On his priorities if he is elected in June, Mr Benicio said that he wanted to place emphasis on road safety, citing his own experience as a Deliveroo driver

Mr Benicio is set to run for the party in the Dublin North Inner City ward.

The hero Deliveroo rider who intervened to stop the stabbing of children in Dublin last November is to contest the local elections for Fianna Fáil.

Caio Benicio said he believed politics was the best way to make a difference in people’s lives.
