Jeffrey Donaldson says ‘much more’ needed from Government on NI funding model

DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson has said the Government needs to provide “much more” in its offer for Northern Ireland, ahead of the resumption of talks on the £2.5 billion package to stabilise finances in the region.

In a letter to party members seen by the PA news agency, Mr Donaldson said he expects Westminster to “advance” its current offer on Monday and work towards “substantive change” in Northern Ireland’s funding model.
