Government should summon Israeli ambassador to relay its 'deep concern', says Cork MEP 

Asked if Ireland should consider the expulsion of the ambassador, Mr Kelleher said that if the attacks by Israeli continue, steps would have to be considered by Government.

The Irish Government should summon the Israeli ambassador to relay its “deep concern” over the ongoing escalation of hostilities in the Gaza strip, Cork MEP Billy Kelleher has said.

Mr Kelleher said that the Israeli response in Gaza has been “completely unacceptable” and the ambassador needs to be made aware of Ireland’s concerns.
