Kevin Bakhurst says he 'fully understands' RTÉ must make changes to get state bailout

RTÉ director-general Kevin Bakhurst “fully understands” that difficult changes will have to be made in order to get a state bailout.

Promising an overhaul of the organisation, he said: "There is too much at stake and too high a price to pay for audiences if we don't.”
