Leo Varadkar 'not subject of an investigation by Sipo' over political donations

A spokesperson for the Taoiseach confirmed he has received queries from the ethics watchdog but said that such correspondence is 'normal'

The State’s ethics watchdog has contacted the Taoiseach querying how some of his political donations have been accounted for.

Leo Varadkar has confirmed that the Standards in Public Office (Sipo) has queried donations made to him.
