UK and EU negotiators must be given space to find a resolution to the Northern Ireland Protocol impasse, the Tánaiste has said.

Micheál Martin, who is also foreign affairs minister, stressed that the UK Government and European Commission still had to overcome challenges if a deal was to be struck.
