Cork traffic and weather: Humid conditions included in latest outlook from Met Éireann

This Monday will be warm and mainly dry, although a little drizzle may occur. 

That's according to Met Éireann who said highest temperatures will be between 16 to 20 degrees for Cork and Kerry - and from 20C to 22C degrees for the rest of the Munster region, with light to moderate southwesterly breezes.

Meanwhile, this evening will be mild, humid and mainly dry with some clear spells and patches of mist or fog. 

Lowest temperatures will be between 12C to 15C with light southerly breezes.

Tuesday will be remain mainly dry with bright or sunny spells and perhaps a few showers. 

According to the forecaster, it will become cloudier in the west later. 

Highest temperatures will be between 17C and 20C with light southerly winds.

Later this week, the weather will turn cooler with a fair amount of dry weather and some rain or showers at times.

Traffic

Traffic is moving well in many areas of Cork this morning. However, there is some queuing on the N40 at junction five east, junction four east and on approach to the Kinsale Rd Roundabout from the Ballincollig side. 

Meanwhile, gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a fatal crash involving a bus and a car that occurred in Waterford on Sunday evening.

The incident occurred shortly before 8pm on the N25 between Youghal and Dungarvan at Kinsalebeg.

The driver of the car, a man aged in his mid 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

The road was closed to allow for a technical examination by garda forensic collision investigators but has since fully reopened.
