Young man dies following workplace incident in West Limerick
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) said they are aware of the fatal incident.
A young man, aged in his early 20s, has died following a workplace incident in Athea, West Limerick.
The young man, named locally as Brendan Brosnan, was working on the renovations at a derelict house when the incident occurred on Monday morning.
It is understood a wall fell on top him during the renovations.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) said they are aware of the fatal incident.
“The HSA has launched an investigation into the circumstances,” a spokesperson for the HSA said.
“As such, no further information is available at this time."
