Yellow thunderstorm warning issued for Cork, Kerry and Waterford
Another yellow alert for wind and rain is in place until 8pm for Cork and Kerry.
A weather warning has been issued for Cork, Kerry and Waterford for thunderstorm activity on Saturday afternoon and evening.
The yellow alert has been in place since noon until 7pm.

Met Éireann is warning of difficult driving conditions, spot flooding, fallen branches and the possibility of lightening damage.
It warned of “very strong and gusty southwesterly winds, along with squally heavy showers or longer spells of rain and a chance of hail and thunder".
It also said there was a chance of hail in some areas.
A status yellow wind warning for Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Sligo was due to expire at 2pm.
The forecaster said that scattered showers will continue overnight, with “rather blustery with fresh and gusty southwesterly winds”. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees are expected.
