Funeral details have been announced for a young mother of three who was found dead at her home in Ballincollig, Co Cork last Friday.
The body of Kelly Cremin was discovered at her two-storey terraced home in Innishmore Park on Friday at about 5.30pm. She was pronounced dead at the scene by a local doctor. Her body was subsequently transferred to the morgue.
An autopsy was carried out at Cork University Hospital on Saturday by State Pathologist Dr Yvonne McCartney and foul play was ruled out. It is understood that Ms Cremin suffered head injuries consistent with an accidental fall.
A file on her death will be prepared for the Coroner. An inquest will be held at a later date.
Ms Cremin has been described by friends as a “kind and beautiful woman” who had “a heart of pure gold”. She is survived by her children Katie, Rebekah, and Callum, her mother Sara and brother Mark.
She will be “sadly missed” by her children, mother, brother, grandmother, aunts, uncles, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Ms Cremin will lie in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home in Ballincollig on Wednesday, March 18, from 5pm, with prayers following at 6pm.
Her requiem mass will take place on Thursday at 11am in the Church of Christ our Light in Ballincollig. Burial will follow at St Columba’s Churchyard Cemetery in Bweeng, Co Cork.
