Met Éireann issues rain warning for Cork and Kerry

Cork and Kerry will be under a status yellow rain warning on Tuesday, with Met Éireann also warning of "strong and gusty" winds.
According to the forecaster, spells of heavy rain, coupled with strong east to southeast winds are to be expected.
The warning will be in place from 2am to 8am on Tuesday.
Met Éireann has warned of localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
From this Monday until Wednesday, a small craft warning will be in place for all coasts of Ireland.
According to the forecaster, east to southeast winds will reach force six or higher.
On Sunday, seventeen counties were under a fog warning, after Met Éireann warned of "hazardous travelling conditions".
More generally, Monday will see a cloudy and wet start for most, with widespread outbreaks of rain and drizzle.
The forecaster said the rain will start to clear northwards through the afternoon with drier and brighter conditions extending from the southwest, while temperatures will reach highs of 9C.
Meanwhile, this evening will be "clear, cold, and dry" for many, with areas of fog developing in some places. It will be cold, with temperatures of -2C to 2C expected and patches of frost and ice forming.
Towards morning, outbreaks of rain will develop in the southwest with freshening winds.
Heading into Tuesday, areas of fog "will clear through the morning as it becomes breezy with outbreaks of rain", which will be heavy at times.
Met Éireann said that overall this week, it will be generally unsettled with rain and showers each day.
