Gardaí in Kerry searching for missing man, aged 72

Gardaí in Kerry have issued a public appeal for information on a missing pensioner.

72-year-old Jeremiah Downing was reported missing from his home in Sneem on New Year's Day, Thursday, January 1.

Jeremiah was last seen at approximately 3pm on Tuesday, December 30.

He is described as being over 6ft in height, with a medium build. He has grey hair and blue eyes.

When he was last seen, Jeremiah was wearing dark clothing, including a brown jacket and dark trousers.

He is also known to frequent the Castlecove area of Co. Kerry.

Gardaí and Jeremiah’s family say they are concerned for his wellbeing.
