An e-scooter driver who died following a collision in Waterford City on Christmas Day has been named locally as Alan Walsh.

The 40-year-old from St John’s Park was involved in a collision with a car at about 11am at the junction of Manor Hill (Bunker's Hill) and Hennessy’s Road on Thursday.
