Three road deaths in separate collisions as man held in connection with Monaghan crash

Two men and a woman have died in separate road crashes in Limerick, Monaghan, and Tipperary over the past 12 hours.

In Monaghan, gardaí were alerted to a collision involving a HGV and a car on the N2 at Mullaghnee, Annalitten, Castleblayney that occurred at approximately 8am on Thursday.
