Man, 20s, dies in single-vehicle crash in Tipperary
The male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle involved, a man aged in his 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Tipperary on Wednesday night.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which happened on the N24 at Cordangan Cross near Tipperary town at approximately 9.45pm.
The male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle involved, a man aged in his 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His body was removed to Waterford University Hospital, where an autopsy will take place in due course.
The road where the accident took place remains closed as of Thursday morning pending a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
Any road users with camera footage who were travelling in the area around Tipperary town and the Bansha Road between 9pm and 10pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
Gardaí also say they are particularly interested in potential sightings of a 2005-registered grey Toyota Yaris over this time period.
