The Defence Forces' bomb squad wascalled to a house in Co Cork on Tuesday after suspected explosives were found during construction work.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team responded to a call for assistance from gardaí after the devices were discovered at a home in the Newmarket area.
