Gardaí seize car in Cork City after finding unaccompanied learner driver using phone

It was an unfortunate day for one learner driver in Cork City as gardaí seized their car following multiple traffic violations.
The Volkswagen was stopped by gardaí at Parnell Place on Sunday.
The driver was found to be using their phone and was not accompanied by a fully licensed driver.

The car, which also had multiple safety defects, had the phrase: "I am a d**khead" written into the grime.
The car has since been seized by gardaí.
The force posted online: "Sometimes, the writing is on the car. Learner driver detected using their phone, No full licence holder, Multiple safety defects."
