Two arrested after scissor lift stolen and driven through Cork City

Members of the public who encountered the vehicle alerted gardaí, who later stopped the lift on the South Gate Bridge near Barrack St

Two people have been arrested after a scissor lift was stolen and driven through Cork city centre on Sunday evening.

Videos on social media show four young men on top of the lift, travelling along Oliver Plunkett St and Patrick St.
