Man arrested after woman and baby boy injured in Cork crash

A woman and a baby boy were injured in a road traffic collision in Co Cork on Tuesday.
The incident involved a single car and two pedestrians — the woman and child — and occurred near Blarney at around 4.30pm.
Gardaí attended the scene, and the woman, aged in her 30s, and the "male infant" were taken to Cork University Hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
The scene was preserved for technical examination, but the road has since reopened.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly anyone who was in the area at the time or has dashcam footage.
