Gardaí investigating after assault in Limerick fast food restaurant

Gardaí are investigating following an assault in a fast food restaurant in Limerick.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the incident on Friday, October 3, at approximately 2.15am.

A man, aged in his 30s, was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick following the incident, which involved several men.

A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Examiner he was treated for "non-life-threatening injuries sustained during this incident".

Investigations are ongoing.
