Investigating gardaí urged any road users with camera footage from Oakpark Road between 6.45am and 7.15am to provide it

A male cyclist is in serious condition in hospital after a road traffic collision in Co Kerry on Wednesday morning.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the crash involving a car and a bicycle, which happened on Oakpark Road in Tralee shortly before 7am.

The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to University Hospital Kerry for treatment. His condition remains serious.

No other injuries were reported.

Investigating gardaí urged any road users with camera footage from Oakpark Road between 6.45am and 7.15am to provide it.
