Man, 70s, dies following workplace accident in Co Limerick

A man in his 70s has died following a fatal workplace accident in Co Limerick.
Gardaí and emergency services personnel responded to the incident at a premises in Garryarthur shortly before 4pm on Wednesday.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick where an autopsy will take place in due course.
A Garda spokesperson said the Health and Safety Authority was notified of the incident and was attending the scene.
The has contacted the HSA for comment.
