Four men injured following public order incident in Co Clare
Gardaí said four men — two aged in their 20s, one in his 30s and one in his 40s — sustained injuries, which are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Four men have been injured, with two taken to hospital, following a public order incident in Co Clare on Sunday evening.
Gardaí attended the incident, which involved "a number of individuals", at Main Street in Miltown Malbay at around 7.10pm.
Gardaí said four men — two aged in their 20s, one in his 30s and one in his 40s — sustained injuries, which are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Gardaí said one of the men in his 20s received medical treatment at the scene.
The two men who were aged in their 30s and 40s were taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.
The scene was preserved for gardaí to carry out a technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, including road users with video/dashcam footage from the area at this time, is asked to make contact with investigating gardaí.
