Gardaí seized €17,000 worth of cocaine and ecstasy (subject to analysis) and cash to the value of €8,600.

Two men have been arrested after drugs and cash were seized in Kerry.

Garda officers attached to the Kerry divisional drugs unit conducted a search on a home in Killarney on Saturday evening.

The search came as part of ongoing investigations targeting the sale and supply of drugs.

During the course of the search, gardaí seized €17,000 worth of cocaine and ecstasy (subject to analysis) and cash to the value of €8,600.

The drugs seized will be forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.

Two men were arrested at the scene, aged in their 50s and 20s and both are currently detained at a Garda station in the Kerry Division.
