A technical examination of the scene is currently being carried out, and the road remains closed. Local diversions are in place. 

A man in his 60s died in a collision in Co Tipperary on Saturday morning.

Gardaí and emergency services responded to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on the N24 at Kilmoyler, Cahir, at around 10.40am.

The man, who was the sole occupant and driver, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was taken to Tipperary University Hospital, where an autopsy will be conducted.

A technical examination of the scene is underway, and the road remains closed with local diversions in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

Any road users with camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling in the area between 10.30am and 11am are asked to share it with investigating gardaí.

“Investigations are ongoing,” a garda spokesperson said.
