Gardaí investigating the death of a man who lay dead in a roadside ditch in North Cork for two weeks have issued a public appeal for help.

They issued a specific appeal for anyone who may have seen the man, a Polish national in his 50s, as he walked on the road between Banteer and Kanturk on June 13 to contact them.
