Man, 30s, dead after getting into difficulty in Cork river

A man in his 30s has died after getting into difficulty in a Cork river.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene at the Blackwater river at Dysart, Dromagh, Mallow on Wednesday evening around 7pm.
The man, aged in his 30s, was recovered from the water by the fire service and his body will be removed to Cork University Hospital Mortuary where a post mortem will take place in due course.
A file will be prepared for the Coroner's Court.
A garda spokesperson said: "Investigations ongoing."
