Filming of fantasy series in Limerick to bring ‘hundreds of jobs’ to Mid-West

Likened to a ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ type adventure, The Wayfinders is set in a richly imagined world of myth, magic and ancient conflict

Pre-production is currently underway in Limerick following the successful filming of the Wayfinders pilot episode in the region in October 2023.

The Mid-West has further cemented its reputation as the hot new location for the film industry with the news that cameras are set to roll on an “epic” fantasy series.

As well as an invaluable showcase for the region, The Wayfinders will also provide a jobs boost with 140 crew members and up to 200 extras on set each day in Limerick’s Troy Studios and locations across the region.
