Ukrainian residents given extension to stay in Cork hotel until after Junior Cert exams

The family fled from Kherson in southern Ukraine after grandmother was killed during the Russian invasion

The Ukrainian residents of a Cork hotel have been given an extension allowing them to remain there until after one of them completes her Junior Certificate exams.

Anna Serdiuk, her mother Olga, and father Mykola, have been living in the Grand Hotel in Fermoy since July 2022.
