Emergency services at scene of serious collision in west Limerick

Gardaí are at the scene of the road traffic collision on the N69, Askeaton

It is understood that a motorcyclist was injured in the incident. 

Emergency services including An Garda Síochána are currently at the scene of a serious collision in west Limerick.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed that gardaí are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision on the N69, Askeaton, which occurred this Wednesday evening. 

It is understood that a motorcyclist was injured in the incident.

"The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place," said the spokesperson.

"No further information is available at this time.”
