Some villages in West Cork now have 'no coverage at all', councillors told.

Cork County Council’s chief executive Moira Murrell has said her officials will draw up a map of areas in the region which are suffering increasingly poor mobile phone coverage and present it to the major operators in the hope they will address the issue.

The local authority wants a meeting with the "big providers" amid councillors' concerns coverage has seriously deteriorated in many areas in the past six months.
