A yellow weather warning for wind and rain has been issued for Munster and eight other counties as Met Éireann says "very strong and gusty winds" are expected.

The warning, which will take effect at 2am on Sunday, will affect Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, and all of Munster.
