Investigation under way after man caught cutting throat of pregnant sheep on Kerry farm

An investigation is under way after a man was allegedly caught cutting the throat of pregnant sheep in Co Kerry.
Gardaí received a report of the incident which occurred on a farm in the town of Clonkeen, on January 5 at approximately 3.30pm.
“A sheep was killed during the incident,” said a Garda spokesperson.
A post shared on Facebook by a community page to "raise awareness" for those “with farms that aren’t close to home” said a man cut the throats of “heavily in lamb ewes”.
The post has since then been deleted.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed investigations are ongoing.
