Man, 40s, arrested in connection with murder of Paula Canty in Mallow

Paula Canty's body was found in an apartment in the centre of Mallow, just days before her 32nd birthday.

A man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the murder of young mother Paula Canty in Mallow in north Cork last Friday.

He is currently being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in the Southern Region.
