Cork motorists told to avoid Jack Lynch Tunnel after multi-vehicle crash

It’s understood that no serious injuries were noted as a result of the collision

Motorists are advised to avoid the area around the Jack Lynch Tunnel at present after a multi-vehicle collision reduced the local roads to gridlock.

Tenders from Cork City Fire Brigade at Anglesea Street rushed to the area early on Saturday evening after a five-vehicle pile up on the westbound carriageway within the tunnel itself.
