Garda member injured after hit and run in Cork

A garda statement said that the “occupants of the other vehicle fled the scene on foot and the driver has yet to come forward.” 

A garda has been injured in a hit and run in north Cork.

The male garda was on his own in an unmarked patrol car which was struck by a passing car in the Spa Glen area of Mallow at around 10am on Saturday morning.
