Woman dies and man injured after being struck by car on footpath in Cork

A woman has died and a man remains in hospital after being struck by a car which mounted the footpath on Saturday afternoon in Charleville, Co Cork.

Gardaí say they are investigating the crash which occurred shortly before 2pm on Main Street when a car hit the two pedestrians.
