Four arrests after 10 properties searched in feud probe

Drugs, weapons, and four stolen caravans were seized after properties in Clare were searched by gardaí

Four arrests were made, and drugs, weapons, and four stolen caravans were also seized after 10 Clare properties were searched by gardaí.

The operation targeted persons involved in ongoing feuds and criminality in the Ennis area. 

Gardaí attached to the Divisional Crime Task Force and assisted by the Armed Support Units and members from Ennis Garda Station searched 10 properties on Friday. 

A man in his late teens and a man in his 30s along with two teenage youths were arrested. 

They are currently being detained at Garda stations in the Southern Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Four caravans which are suspected to be stolen, and a quantity of drugs and weapons were also seized. 

"The investigation is ongoing," a garda spokesperson said.
