Man rescued after falling from boat in Cork Harbour

A rescue operation took place on Sunday evening in Cork Harbour after reports that a man fell overboard from a commercial vessel which was tied up at the pier in Crosshaven.

The alarm was raised at around 9.40pm and several emergency services responded, including Crosshaven RNLI, the Crosshaven Coast Guard and National Ambulance Service paramedics.
