Update: William Doherty has been found safe and well.

Earlier: Gardaí have appealed for the public's help to trace a 15 year-old Cork boy missing since Friday.

William Doherty, who has been reported missing from Carrigtwohill, is described as being approximately six foot three inches, with a slim build. 

He has brown hair and brown eyes.

It is not known what William was wearing when last seen.

Gardaí and William’s family are concerned for his well-being.
