The iconic Jackie Lennox chipper in Cork has announced that it will be closing its doors next Sunday. 

In the time since the chippers announced the closure on Monday night, Leesiders have taken to social media to share their dismay at the news, as well as their happy memories of a Cork institution which has been serving up some of the finest chips to be found anywhere in Ireland for nearly 75 years.
