Corkman to climb Carrantouhill with search and rescue dummy for charity

Mark Quilligan takes on challenge for Mallow Search and Rescue in memory of brother who drowned while fishing more than 10 years ago

A man who drowned while fishing on the River Lee is to be remembered with a unique show of strength for the charity that recovered his body.

Mark Quilligan will pay tribute to his brother Brian, on what would have been his 40th birthday, by attempting to carry a 40kg search and rescue training dummy up Carrauntoohil.
