The other vehicle involved in the collision failed to remain at the scene.

A woman has been hospitalised following a suspected hit-and-run incident in Cork City on Monday night.

The crash happened on the Ballyhooley Road in Cork City, close to the Fox and Hounds pub at approximately 10.45pm.
