'I just can't sing': Daniel O'Donnell cancels tonight's show in Cork due to illness

Daniel O'Donnell has extended his apologies to fans after he was forced to cancel his show in Cork Opera House following a chest infection.

The Donegal based singer, shared the news to fans earlier today, advising fans to refrain from making the journey to Cork.

The singer said he is unable to sing as a result of the infection.

Tonight's show marked the second leg of Daniel's trip to Cork, as part of his Irish Tour 2024.

"We would hope that we'll reschedule the show at some point," Daniel said in Facebook video.

The singer said he will advise those who had tickets, what they can do to obtain a refund in due course.

"I apologise for the inconvenience but I just can't sing," he said.

In a statement posted on X, Cork Opera House wished the singer a "speedy recovery" and said they will be in touch with patrons as soon as possible regarding a rescheduled show or refund.
