UCC student encampment ends after 'constructive discussions' with college

An encampment set up in UCC to force the university to divest links with Israel has come to an end after an agreement was reached with the college.

The college confirmed it had reached an agreement with the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement at UCC on Wednesday, marking an end to the encampment that had been in place on campus for the past six weeks.
