Prospective homeowners slept in cars to snap up first homes in new Cork housing development

People who slept in their cars outside a new €200m residential development in Cork City were quick to agree contracts for sale for some of the most sought-after homes in the country.
More than 1,000 people turned up from around 11am on Saturday at the Bayly development, near Cork’s Douglas village.
