Two rescued after speed boat suffers engine failure on Lough Derg

Lough Derg RNLI were alerted to assist in the operation by gardaí and Valentia Coast Guard.

Two people have been rescued after a speed boat got into difficulty on Tipperary's Lough Derg.

The 16ft vessel ran aground in Youghal Bay after suffering engine failure at around 1pm on Monday.
