The body of the man, aged in his 50s, has since been removed to University Hospital Limerick where an autopsy is due to be carried out. 

A man has died following a workplace incident at a Uisce Éireann treatment plant in Tipperary. 

Gardaí and the HSA are investigating the incident which happened at the Roscrea Wastewater Treatment Plant shortly after 12.30pm on Wednesday.
